History:
As a child, Andris was happy and energetic, looking to protect his whole village from stray skags and rakk. He was determined to become the best man he could be, and loved his neighbors. Most of all, he loved his sister, Minta. The two were close like two bullets in a magazine, always together. Minta was more shy than he was, but together the two were always confident and happy.
Even without parents. When Andris was eight years old, the two lost their parents to a wormhole thresher. Since then he worked twice as hard to raise both himself and his sister. The village was peaceful with new defenses to keep threshers out. Andris learned how to grow food, hunt with a shotgun and a knife, and to distill alcohol for making money. He grew taller and more muscular, more confident, and became popular in his village.
When Andris became of age, he got the tattoos that all men in his village received, a sign of honor and power.
But, as is the norm on Pandora, tragedy was coming.
When Andris was nineteen, a group of armed men attacked the village. They took any and all young men and women that they could find, including Minta. In the struggle, Andris took a knife to the face- in particular, his eye. Because of the damage he was left behind. All others were either taken by the men, or perished.
Now alone in the village, Andris had no purpose. He had no idea what was happening or what had gone on, where they were taken, anything. Without any friends or family left, he simply guarded the village on his own, hoping that someone would come back.
And one day, someone did.
When Andris was cleaning out one of the old houses, he spotted a woman limping back. It was Minta.
Minta explained to him where she had been, and he noticed her. Her shoulders and ankles were malformed, there was blue skin all over her, and her feet were like that of a skag. There was plating on her legs and arms. She’d been experimented on. Andris was unable to come up with any words; how could this happen? Who was it? Where were the others?
It wasn’t long after that three men came to the village; all wearing thick jackets, wielding huge shotguns, and looking mean and arrogant. They’d come for the skag girl, they explained, and wouldn’t be leaving without her. Andris fought back as best he could, but one of them knocked him out, giving him a scar across his face in the process.
He spent all of his time for the next few years tracking down the mercenary scumbags who had taken his sister back to the insane scientist who had turned her into a skag homunculus. After getting two, he worked on tracking down the third; a man named Liam Tsaavik. He found the man in the ruins of a city, tugging along a small woman with purple hair and blue tattoos. The man had changed; he was married now, and to a Siren nonetheless. He had to think.
Andris decided to kidnap the Siren, Vira, and give Liam a chance. Get Minta back, and he would have his Siren back.
Liam ended up succeeding, and reunited Andris with his sister, finally free.
