History: Hop grew up in a pretty traditional way. A smaller city, close friends, both parents. He was a pretty laid back kid, got into trouble sometimes, generally did what he was supposed to. In a way, it was pretty boring. He always had a thing for sports, though, and physically he excelled at whatever he put his mind and body to. He only made average grades, being somewhat lazy academically. To Hop, school was more about the clubs and sports than it was about books and grades. He preferred it that way, anyway. Which was fine with him- he didn’t want to be an amazing student. He was happier learning things like how to fix a sink rather than how to do derivatives.
As such, Hop grew up being handy and athletic.
He tried higher education where he could, but found after a few months that he didn’t prefer it. He gave it his best shot, but it didn’t work out. So instead he dropped it and learned how to bar tend. He was able to be happy then, just being himself- he had more free time to spend with his friends skateboarding and hanging out, seeing movies, and enjoying life. Hop is responsible and has never missed a shift at work or let a friend down, and he always finds time for everyone.
