History:
Ipa was never really an academic. Despite being fine with book smarts, he was never interested in maths and sciences. Not even history or literature or art. He DID, however, have a thing for horticulture from a young age. And why not? It made the most sense, he’s a bee! While Ipa was never interested in higher education or being famous or rich, he did want to grow gardens. All of his siblings had similar interests as well as his relatives; again, it just made sense.
Ipa loves gardens and flowers and trees and anything that grows in the ground. He got a job in the local botanical gardens when he finished with basic schooling, helping the plant keepers with the vast gardens.
And, as most bees are apt to do…he began to make honey in his spare time to sell. It helped to make wages, and gave him a reason to help pollinate plants.
His honey was…in a word, magnificent. His brand became very well known, and he eventually came under the sights of one Reese Sinclair, a vastly rich candy tycoon. The rabbit, Reese, wanted Ipa to come work for him and make not only more honey, but all different kinds. Ipa agreed as long as he could continue selling to the common folk.
Now, Ipa oversees several acres of greenhouses. The plants inside vary from poppies to sunflowers to avocado trees; fruit trees, flowers, vines, everything. Ipa was in heaven! He could make all kinds of different honey, all different flavors and treats and snacks. Some of the honey went to candy, some got jarred, some got made into sticks, and so on; it was a honey paradise, and Ipa was so happy to make people happy with it! He continues to work for Reese Sinclair, and is very friendly with the rest of the (surprisingly humble and caring) staff.
Ipa is a happy little bee!
