History: Jenko is from a planet called Sitas, in a galaxy with very complex and diverse planets and races. His people, Sitans, are basically humans that live longer and grow taller and bigger. However, there are a select few rare Sitans born every few years with the ability to predict the future- these are called Seers. When Jenko was a child, his parents, who were both engineers, were killed by an accident in their line of work. Jenko was only ten years old at the time, and it was unheard of for a child to not have a family- the Seers should have seen the accident coming.
Ultimately the Queen of Sitas herself stepped in and took care of Jenko, enlisting him in a military school to be educated and trained as one of the royal guard. By age twenty five, Jenko was her right hand man and her most trusted guard. Which was when things began to go downhill.
The Queen gave birth to the next heir to the throne; Jenko and the doctor were the only ones allowed in the delivery room, as the King was off planet. The Queen had twins; a boy and a girl. She revealed to Jenko that the Seers had told he she would have twins and that the girl would be killed to keep the throne from having competition of any kind. She had allowed Jenko’s parents to die so that she may use him to save her child. She begged Jenko to take the girl far away so that she may live.
The doctor, however, betrayed her to the kingdom and the royal guard turned on the Queen. Jenko took the baby girl and sent her to Earth to keep her safe, but got caught. In the crossfire, the Queen was killed, already weak from child birth.
Jenko spent twenty years in prison, being beaten and questioned daily as to where he sent the girl. It wasn’t until the day of his execution that he managed to escape, steal a ship, and get to earth to find the girl.
He did, as a physics major at a university. Her name was Trella, and while she had a hard time adjusting to the thought of being an alien, when a bounty hunter showed up to kill her and Jenko saved her life, she realized that what he said was true. The two became friends and Jenko shared what he knew about the universe with her, and Trella learned eagerly.
Eventually the two learned that Trella’s twin had killed the King and had become a dictator over the entire solar system that Sitas was in. Jenko was still bitter about being betrayed of course, but knew he had to do something. With Trella’s help, they killed her twin to save the planet, but she didn’t want to stay. Her place was on Earth with her friends and school. Jenko understood this, and sent her off with a fond goodbye for being his best friend.
Sitas underwent a huge political reform and the entire system gained a military with four generals for keeping the peace, of which Jenko was the first named.
Now he serves as the new Queen’s right hand man, for a woman named Imogen.
