History:
Riste had a pretty standard childhood. She was a single child and had two very loving parents, and was very close to them. Since she was very young, Riste was always interested in sewing and designing things. She loved making curtains, pillow cases, coin purses…then eventually grew to love making costumes and clothes. It was a good hobby for her, and a good source of income when she was small to sew her classmate’s Halloween costumes. Things were good.
When she was a teenager, she lost her mother to a rare form of cancer. Despite having a lot of time to say goodbye, it was still difficult for her.
The next year, she entered high school and met Ella.
It was quite the coincidence, having every single class with a Tasmanian tiger whom she just seemed to click perfectly with. From study buddies to lab partners, they became inseparable best friends within a semester. Sleepovers were common, Riste’s father joked he now had two daughters, and things continued to be good.
It wasn’t long before the two fell in love by the time they were both fifteen years old. Riste joined an after school sewing club and Ella joined the wrestling team, and they supported each other’s hobbies wholly.
Riste wanted to go to college but Ella didn’t. Ella had been given an amazing opportunity to compete in weight lifting and wrestling, and also run a gym on the side. Riste encouraged her to take it. Ella encouraged her to go to college like she wanted.
The two paused at the idea of a four year long distance relationship for a moment…then scoffed and laughed.
Three years later, Riste graduated early, Ella proposed, and the two were married.
Now Riste runs her own fashion company, and Ella runs her gym and competes all over the world in wrestling and weight listing. They support Riste’s father, who was able to retire early, and talk about having kids some day. Life is happy, and the two are very in love.
