History: Eavan was once a beautiful young woman from a very wealthy family of merchants. She had two very loving parents, a younger brother, and everything she could ever want. But despite being so well off, she was always kind and caring to others. She loved animals and gardening, and especially had a soft spot for the many rose bushes she tended to around the family estate.
When Eavan was old enough a nobleman from the city asked for her hand in marriage. The families spoke, Eavan met the man and they got along great and did some initial dating, and everything seemed perfect.
Eavan’s wedding day was the happiest of her life! There were roses everywhere, both families were attending, and her little brother was even the ring bearer. She was so happy for the two families to be joined, and everything seemed perfect.
When Eavan and her new husband got to their wedding night room, things took a turn. Eavan was knocked out with a lamp. When she awoke, she was stripped naked and laying on the ground. She looked up and there her husband was, holding her wedding dress and pouring a vial of blood onto it. Eavan noticed her wrist had been cut.
He explained to her that he had married her to join their two families and become the heir to both fortunes. He planned on faking her death and then killing her family; he’d done a deal with a Shadow Man and everything was set in stone. He left her there to die next, and Eavan desperately tried to get out, only to find that she was in a maze of rose bushes. The walls were impossibly thick and despite trying to get through the thorns, the walls never ended. She never found the end either and, eventually, starved to death in the maze while her family was killed.
She awoke feeling warm and lively.
